VTB Capital to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

VTB Capital will be participating in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will be held on 20th – 22nd June 2013. Company representatives will take part in key sessions throughout the Forum.
 
On the first day of the Forum, a panel session “Making tough decisions in reforming global finance” will be held in cooperation with VTB Capital. Leading international and Russian experts will participate in the discussion, including: Andrey Kostin, VTB Bank President and Chairman of the Management Board; Anton Siluanov, Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation; Michael J. Andrew, Chairman at KPMG International; Madelyn Antoncic, Vice President, Head of Treasury at The World Bank; Michael Corbat, CEO of Citigroup; Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of Singapore; Ksenia Yudayeva, Head of the Expert Department of the President of the Russian Federation; Frederic Oudea, Chairman of the Board of Directors, CEO at Société Générale Group SA. The session will be moderated by Gerard Baker, Managing Editor at The Wall Street Journal & Editor-in-Chief of Dow Jones & Co.
 
Alexei Yakovitsky, Global CEO at VTB Capital, will speak at an open debate on “European fissures: taking the hard decisions to end the crisis”. Other speakers will include Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Sir Suma Chakrabarti, President of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
 
On the same day, the Forum will also hold a televised debate on “China changing gears: new models for growth”, where Damian Chunilal, CEO Asia for VTB Capital, will take part. During the event, participants will discuss the development of the Chinese economy and its impact on economic growth in the region and around the world.
 
On June 21, the Forum will hold a session on “Public-private balance in powering a new era of global infrastructure development”, where Yuri Soloviev, First Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, Chairman of VTB Capital holding companies Board of Directors, will speak alongside the Russian Minister of Transport, Maxim Sokolov. During this session, leading international experts and government representatives will discuss the priorities for infrastructure across the world, the most effective mechanisms for financial interaction between the public and private sectors, and the prospects for modernisation and expansion of existing infrastructure in Russia.
 
Alexei Yakovitsky said: “The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is considered one of the key platforms for discussions on issues affecting the development of effective interaction between the Russian and international business community.
