May 1 (Reuters) - Police said the bomb squad had detonated what they assessed to be a hand grenade in a controlled explosion, rendering it harmless, after cordoning off several streets in Malmo, southern Sweden, on Friday.
Public Safety Measures
Police had asked residents, as well as people in restaurants, stores and other establishments to remain inside after the object was found.
