May 12 (Reuters) - DHL Group said on Tuesday it signed a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) supply agreement with the SAF One production facility in Bahrain.
Details of the Supply Deal
The deal will grant its subsidiary DHL Express long term access to 25,000 metric tons of unblended SAF per year, the group said in a statement.
Long-Term Impact and Timeline
This represents a total of 250,000 metric tons over a 10-year term from start of production, planned in 2028, it said.
Support for Sustainability Goals
The agreement supports DHL's target to increase SAF use to 30% by 2030.
