YORKSHIRE BUILDING SOCIETY SELECTS WORKSMART TO SUPPORT TRAINING AND COMPETENCE FRAMEWORK
Yorkshire Building Society Group (the Group) has chosen the tracSmart platform from Worksmart (www.worksmart.co.uk) to automate the Group’s training and competence (“T&C”) framework which embeds development and risk management within customer facing teams, providing consistency across brands, functions and channels. The three year deal will see the Worksmart system support the T&C framework for the society.
Worksmart, the leading provider of T&C, Learning Management, Quality Assurance and Customer feedback solutions to the financial services sector, was chosen by the Group after an extensive review of the market. The Group required a solution that would automate and standardise the T&C controls and governance for its staff across its brands (Yorkshire Building Society, Norwich & Peterborough Building Society, Barnsley Building Society, Chelsea Building Society and Accord Mortgages) and which would allow the Group to understand the skill, knowledge and expertise of individual colleagues and deliver the appropriate development.
The Group was attracted to tracSmart as it is a mature, proven system already used successfully by numerous financial services companies and organisations, including three of the ‘big four’ clearing banks, global top 20 insurers, networks and IFAs. The Group was impressed by Worksmart’s consultative approach which ensures a highly collaborative, transparent and flexible working relationship with the backing of a tried and tested development and implementation team. The solution will interface with existing systems and will provide management information via MI dashboards for reporting of Group T&C performance to the Board and the Senior Team.
Lynne Hargreaves, Yorkshire Building Society Group Training & Competence Manager comments “This is a key project which directly supports our ongoing objective to deliver first class Training and Development. Throughout the selection process Worksmart demonstrated that they have the proven software, knowledge and expertise required to deliver a project of this size and we look forward to the new system being rolled out across the Group later this year”
Commenting on the deal, Colin Fox, MD at Worksmart says “We’re delighted to be able to add Yorkshire Building Society Group to our customer list and to be working with it on such an important project. This deal strengthens our presence in the Building Society sector and is testament to the investments we have made in both our products and our people in recent times.”
