Anglo American Appoints New Leaders for Key Divisions

(Reuters) – London-listed miner Anglo American said on Tuesday Mpumi Zikalala, who currently heads its De Beers business, will replace Themba Mkhwanazi as CEO of its subsidiary Kumba Iron Ore.

Mkhwanazi will become the boss of Anglo’s bulk commodities unit. The company said both the appointments will take effect from Jan. 1 next year, adding that a search for De Beers’ new Managing Director was underway.
