HWB Promotes Two Associate Directors
One of the largest independent accountancy practices in Hampshire has promoted two new Associate Directors.

Julia Bates and James Alesbury have both been awarded the directorship by accountancy firm, HWB, based at Chandlers Ford near Southampton.
Julia Bates Leads Audit and Accounts
Julia, 40, heads up the firm’s Audit and Accounts Department. Having joined the business as a graduate 20 years ago, she has been a key player in the growth of the firm. She has played a major role in ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance for clients as well as delivering practical commercial solutions for them.
James Alesbury's Expanding Leadership Role
James, 31, joined HWB in October 2010 to head their payroll department – more than 200 businesses now outsource their payroll to the firm and that number is growing month on month.
His operational skills and experience in project implementation have earned him additional responsibilities, which now include overseeing the marketing and financial planning for the firm.
