Elek & Noss LLC, a local accounting and consulting firm in Lorain County is pleased to announce the addition of Dave Worden as a Senior Staff Accountant.
Role and Responsibilities of New Senior Staff Accountant
Worden joins the growing firm to provide additional finance and accounting support to the Partners. His responsibilities will include monthly financial reporting and analysis, assistance in planning and performing field audits, preparation of tax returns, as well as other general accounting functions.

Dave Worden’s Professional Background
Prior to Elek & Noss, Worden worked for the Ohio Auditor of State as an assistant auditor where he gained experience auditing client’s financial statements and investigating fraud allegations. He later owned and operated two Liberty Tax Service offices located in North Olmstead and North Ridgeville. There Worden hired, trained and managed up to 30 employees, while he prepared tax returns and monthly financial statements for clients. In addition, he also advised clients on IRS regulations and impacts on their personal returns.
Educational Qualifications and CPA Aspirations
Worden is a graduate of Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio with a degree in accounting and sports management. Worden also received his MBA from University of Phoenix and is planning to obtain his CPA.
