CR360 NAMED AMONG UK’S FASTEST GROWING TECH COMPANIES

CR360 directors

CR360 (www.credit360.com), formerly CRedit360, has been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies by the prestigious Sunday Times’ Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table. The company, which provides software for multinational businesses to manage their sustainability performance, has more than tripled its sales in three years, achieving a turnover of £7.7m in 2014, and rapidly expanded its team from 33 to 118. It is one of only four companies in the East of England to be honoured with a place in this year’s league table.

Founded by university friends Richard Kirby and Anthony Jenking, CR360 now services over 175 customers worldwide, including Heineken, Philips and McDonald’s, from its headquarters in Cambridge and offices in Chicago, Hong Kong and Australia. Its product has been rated as world-leading by independent analyst firm Verdantix, is GRI-approved and has achieved gold-level CDP accreditation. The company is entirely privately owned and develops all its software in-house.

“Being named in the Tech Track 100 is a fantastic achievement for our company and a great tribute to our brilliant and capable team,” says Richard Kirby, Director, CR360. “From the beginning, we’ve focused on staying agile by funding our own product development, which has enabled us to respond rapidly and flexibly to customer requests.

“We’re very proud of our product, but what we hear consistently from customers is that they value our open-minded team and culture,” continues Richard. “We strive to be experts in what we do, and we encourage our people to be open and willing to learn. Growing quickly has only been possible by putting our staff first. That’s why we ensure that everyone in the team has the opportunity to have real influence and responsibility.”

CR360’s 118-strong team comprises software developers, sustainability consultants, business development experts, marketers and major account managers. The company has just doubled the size of its Chicago office in 12 months, and employed its one hundredth employee earlier this year.

Among its key achievements in recent years, CR360 has delivered a sophisticated system for Nestlé that enables more than 2,000 employees to manage sustainability at 1,400 global production sites. It is also increasingly breaking into the competitive Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) management system space in the US, and their client list includes four of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.

“International growth has always been part of our strategy and we plan to continue this in the years ahead,” concludes Richard. “Doing business abroad opens up larger markets, brings stability, and offers opportunities for our staff as part of a global company.”
