(Reuters) -JPMorgan Chase & Co has hired Goldman Sachs executive Jonathan Slaughter to join its business services unit within its investment bank, according to a memo seen by Reuters on Tuesday.
Slaughter will be tasked with bolstering the bank's offerings to business services clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and will be based in London when he arrives at JP Morgan later this spring, per the memo.
He has been at Goldman since 2021, and most recently led the bank's business services unit covering the North America region.
Prior to that, Slaughter spent 15 years at Rothschild & Co in various roles in London and New York. While in London, he was seconded for a time to the UK panel on takeovers and mergers, the memo added.
At JP Morgan, Slaughter will report to Dana Weinstein, the global head of business services.
