Sword Active Risk, a supplier of specialist risk management software and services, has appointed a new Head of Global Support. The new appointment forms part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its customer service by aligning its development and support functions more closely. John Frain takes up the position moving from his role as Business Analyst in the company which he has held for the past three years.

Frain has over 17 years’ experience within IT, starting his career as an analyst programmer in commercial organizations, developing solutions on IBM systems. As well as his technical expertise, Frain brings with him valuable experience of working in an Agile SCRUM (project management) environment, matching customer specifications to development requirements.

John Frain stated; “Active Risk has been extensively reviewing how its development teams and support services work together to consolidate its position as a customer focused organization. My experience of working with our internal product teams and external customers to meet project expectations both functionally and to cost and timescales will be invaluable for this role.  I am looking forward to working more closely with customers to deliver great customer service and ensure that our products are meeting their requirements.”
