SPIRE PAYMENTS PICKS PAYMENT INDUSTRY VETERAN AS ITS HEAD OF GLOBAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Spire Payments is extremely excited to announce the appointment of Kamran Yazdanjoo as its Head of Global Product Development. This key appointment comes at a critical time for Spire Payments as its acquisition programme continues to expand the development capabilities of the business. Kamran will be responsible for co-ordinating development activities in Spain, England, Scotland, Hong Kong and Russia, and spearheading the delivery of platforms and applications to support the company’s payment solution strategies.

Kamran has over 25 years international experience in executive leadership positions within card payments and public transportation sectors. Before joining Spire Payments, Kamran served on the Board of Directors of Cubic Transportation Systems Limited as Director of Open Payments. In this role he led new product innovations and the strategy for open payments including mobile and NFC.

Prior to this, Kamran was the Vice President of Global R&D at VeriFone Inc., with responsibility for products and services. In this role he led a global organization across Asia, Europe and North America. He also served on the Board of Directors at VFI Pvt Ltd from 2003 to 2009 and had a lead role in a number of key business transformations at VeriFone.
