SEVEN INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT ADOPTS VIRTUAL CABINET DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR STREAMLINED EFFICIENCY

Global-Financial-News

Lindenhouse Software announced today that it has signed an agreement with Seven Investment Management (7IM) to streamline the company’s document management processes with the implementation of Virtual Cabinet in a 150 seat multi-site deal. The investment management company manages the funds of over £6 billion for a range of private investors.

The priority for 7IM was to find a system that is fast with a smarter search engine to get around the difficulties of finding documents. “Our previous system was not very user friendly and we experienced difficulties pulling back all the client documents,” comments Susan Allen, Head of Platform Service Team.

A review of the market led the company to Virtual Cabinet; a system that delivers industry strength document management and is designed to save time and money for professional firms. “We particularly like the ability to specify different virtual filing cabinets for different parts of the business and that we can restrict certain documents from everyone’s view,” adds Susan.

Mark Woolley, Director, Lindenhouse Software comments: “We are delighted that Seven Investment Management has decided to implement Virtual Cabinet. Many companies in the financial services sector are still using legacy document management systems that are not returning the efficiencies needed in today’s fast moving world. They wrongly believe that implementing a new system will take too much time and manpower. The reality is that we do it all including the migration of data and the seamless integration of our solution with the firm’s existing software.

7IM will see an immediate benefit as Virtual Cabinet provides far greater security, productivity and anywhere, anytime access to documentation.”

Developed by Lindenhouse Software, a leading developer of document management software and with specialist expertise gained from over 2,500 implementations, Virtual Cabinet boosts efficiency in professional firms that work with and retain vast quantities of documents that are subject to complex approval processes and that require input from colleagues and clients. An integrated document portal enables the electronic and legally admissible sign-off of documents in the Cloud and this innovation represents a major step forward in the professional markets served by Lindenhouse. Unlike other document management systems, Virtual Cabinet caters for an unlimited number of recipients and signatories on a single document and helpfully reports on who has or has not signed it. The process is fast and efficient and allows users to securely upload their documents to a hosted portal environment by a click of a button.
