Kimble Applications, one of the UK and Europe’s leading professional services automation (PSA) providers, has expanded its US presence by opening a new office in Boston.  It has also secured another US$1.8m (£1.2m) in funding from some of its existing investors as well as Sussex Place Ventures, the venture capital arm of London Business School.

The Boston office will be led by Mark Robinson, Chief Marketing Officer, and will concentrate on driving growth on the East Coast of the US. Kimble already has offices in Arizona and Utah in the US.

Sean Hoban, CEO of Kimble Applications, commented:

“We are excited about our further expansion in the US and continuing our growth in this important market. We already have a well-established customer base across the world and our third US office will help us expand our current US operations.

“We’re pleased to have Sussex Place Ventures on board as an investor and their support will be invaluable in helping grow Kimble Applications in the future.”

Barnaby Terry, Managing Partner of Sussex Place Ventures, commented:

“There are several PSA solutions on the Salesforce platform, but the fact that Kimble is the only one that has been designed at the outset to scale from small to large organizations without the need for customizations really makes it stand out. It offers the best chance to attract the very largest organizations in competitive situations and so accelerate their growth, making Kimble an exciting company to invest in.”

Kimble is compatible with the Salesforce platform and was named the most innovative application by Salesforce in 2014.
