Cyprus and the Seychelles have signed an agreement between them for cooperation on financial, trade, energy, tourism and health issues.

The agreement was signed last month in the framework of the Third Council of the Joint Intergovernmental Committee for Economic, Scientific, Technical and Industrial Cooperation which assembled in Victoria, the capital of Seychelles. It was signed by the Chief of the Directorate General for European Programmes, Coordination and Development of Cyprus, George Georgiou, and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Seychelles, Ambassador Maurice Loustau-Lalanne.
