New Addition to Boost MoFo’s Real Estate Platform in Germany

Morrison & Foerster Welcomes Christoph Flügel

Morrison &Foerster is expanding its global real estate practice with the addition of ChristophFlügel, who has joined the Berlin office as counsel. His practice is focused on real estate, investment law, regulatory affairs, and compliance.

Background and Previous Experience of Christoph Flügel

Mr. Flügel joins the firm from the leading German asset management company Union Investment, where he was head of the legal department. “As one of the top real estate practices in the world Morrison &Foerster enjoys an excellent reputation. Mr. Flügel received his first state exam from the Ministry of Justice of Brandenburg in Potsdam, and the second state exam from the Ministry of Justice of Saxony in Dresden. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, in the area of corporate and investment law. He also earned a diploma in theology from the North Elbian Protestant Church at the University of Hamburg.
