Ixaris and Entropay appoint Aran Brown as new Group CEO, following a record start to 2018, further building on the 6 million consumer and business virtual cards issued in 2017

The Ixaris Group, comprising of B2C virtual payments business Entropay and B2B payments platform Ixaris, today announces the appointment of Aran Brown as CEO of the group. Having until recently been CCO Aran brings a wealth of experience in exponentially growing businesses in the fintech and payments sectors.

The group is Chaired by industry veteran and Worldpay founder David Sear, who steered Travelex Business Payments & Skrill to $1bn exits. He commented:

‘Amongst all the excitement surrounding new fintech start-ups like Revolut, we’re delighted to appoint Aran as CEO of Ixaris, and know he will continue to turbo charge our profitable revenue growth as we further enhance the top and bottom line performance of the group’, said Sear. ‘Aran has a strong track record of delivering highly profitable growth in payments businesses following successful roles at Skrill (sold to Optimal Payments for €1.2bn) and Hyperwallet (sold to PayPal for $400m in June 2018).’
