itelligence Acquires 60-percent Stake in Sybit GmbH

itelligence is expanding its activities in the market for customer management and e-commerce systems

Today, itelligence AG is announcing its acquisition of Sybit GmbH, Germany. Initially, itelligence is acquiring 60 percent of the southern German Hybris and SAP Gold Partner Sybit. Sybit GmbH is a leading expert in the areas of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and e-commerce in Germany and has acquired an excellent reputation for its consulting services, particularly among globally acting Hidden Champions and corporations. Sybit GmbH is one of the few companies awarded Cloud Focus Partner status by SAP and features among Germany’s top 20 digital agencies.

It was precisely for the segment of CRM and e-commerce that SAP announced its new SAP C/4HANA suite at their global customer conference ‘SAPPHIRE’ in Orlando, USA. With the acquisition of Sybit, itelligence is securing itself a top position in this lucrative market in Germany.

Norbert Rotter, itelligence AG CEO: “The acquisition of Sybit GmbH is of high strategic importance for itelligence AG. itelligence is expanding its activities in the market for customer management and e-commerce systems. Together, we shall aim for market leadership in the DACH region as SAP Cloud Software Reseller and as leading consulting firm for SAP C/4HANA.”

Indicators of Success

Only recently, itelligence AG received a coveted SAP Hybris Award 2018 in category ‘EMEA Service Delivery Partner of The Year’. With Sybit on-board, itelligence now has one of the largest and most experienced teams of consultants for cloud-based SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and e-commerce solutions in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Dr. Andreas Pauls, MD Germany, itelligence AG: “With Sybit strengthening our numbers, we are increasing our capacities to address the significantly increasing demand for cloud-based Customer Engagement & Commerce solutions. In collaboration with Sybit, itelligence will yet again be one of the first and leading SAP partners to help customers utilize new SAP technology as quickly as possible.”

Sybit GmbH was founded in 2000 and now has some 170 employees providing consulting services to renowned customers, predominantly corporations and globally operating SME companies from the plant engineering, high-tech, automotive, and medical technology sectors, assisting them in realizing sophisticated SAP and Hybris projects, now including the key technology of the SAP C/4HANA suite. Sybit will continue to operate under its own brand name after the takeover. The two parties have agreed to aim for itelligence AG gradually acquiring further shares, and ultimately full ownership, in Sybit.

Thomas Regele, Co-founder and CEO of Sybit GmbH: “I am pleased that we can now offer our customers a wider international perspective. We will be able to take advantage of the existing close-knit international network and broader portfolio of itelligence AG for our customers. This step will not least allow us to continue on the company’s positive development path and enhance the long-term prospects for our employees.”

The Founder and CEO of Sybit GmbH, Thomas Regele, as well as the entire management team and the Sybit workforce will continue their careers at Sybit.

The announcement about the cloud-based C/4HANA suite at the SAPPHIRE event in Orlando by SAP CEO Bill McDermott had been awaited with great anticipation. SAP C/4HANA links several cloud-based solutions in order to support all the areas of Customer Relationship Management, such as marketing, sales & distribution, and customer service, as well as ensuring consumer data protection. The SAP C/4HANA technology suite comprises SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud, and SAP Customer Data Cloud.
