Leaders from the Alternative Investment Community Pledge Their Support

Help For Children (HFC) today announced the launch of HFC Los Angeles, following a HFC Los Angeles Kick-off Roundtable last month. The event, led by SS&C Technologies’ Jennifer Girardier, PRISM’s Lauri Haas, and CohnReznick’sMarc Wolf, brought together industry representatives from a number of leading alternative investment and service provider firms to discuss their commitment to growth of the local chapter, HFC and its efforts to prevent and treat child abuse.

“Jennifer, Marc and I are very excited to bring Help For Children and the important work they do to the Los Angeles area,” said Lauri Haas, Principal of PRISM LLC. “Together, with the alternative investment community’s support, we know we can make a difference in so many local children’s lives.”

With the formation of HFC Los Angeles, HFC is building on 20 years of success of HFC offering the alternative investment community a comprehensive solution for philanthropy through their two-fold approach: HFC supports proven methods that are effective in prevention and treating child abuse while also acting as venture philanthropists in supporting promising practices that have shown a strong track record of protecting and healing children who are victims of child abuse.
