Partnership Between Anderson Zaks and Datecs

Anderson Zaks, a Payment Services Provider has teamed up with innovative European hardware manufacturer Datecs to develop a fully secure, scalable m-POS solution.  The new system combines Datecs’ BluePad‑50 universal mobile payment device with Anderson Zaks’ RedCard payment processing service and is fully compatible with EPOS solutions running on Android, Win8 and iOS tablets.  The system includes point to point encryption from the PIN pad to the RedCard software, providing a payments solution that can be used with confidence in a mobile EPOS (or m-POS) environment, and reduces the PCI scope for the merchant or retailer.

Iain High, Managing Director of Anderson Zaks stated; “The current crop of mobile payment solutions are largely aimed at micro-merchants, and typically have limits on the number of transactions and transaction value as well as high costs per transaction.  With Datecs we have developed a significantly larger and more comprehensive solution that is designed with mainstream merchants and retailers across all industries in mind. This joint solution is ideal for vendors looking to develop their next generation of EPOS solutions for the tablet marketplace with hardware manufacturers such as Samsung, Panasonic, Casio and Powa POS.”

Jamal Maknin, UK General Manager for Datecs said; “Datecs are delighted to be working with Anderson Zaks in helping the merchant mobilise their POS and staff to engage the consumer and offer a more flexible and personal shopping experience. Bluepad-50, together with RedCard, secure payment enables any smartphone, tablet or mobile PC to take the till point and customer service agent to the customer.”
