AVENTION, INC. APPOINTS STEVE POGORZELSKI AS CEO
Veteran of Monster.com steps in to lead business information software provider as company looks forward to next level of growth
Avention, Inc., a leader in sales and marketing enablement and business information solutions, announced the appointment of Steve Pogorzelski as its new Chief Executive Officer. Formerly the Chief Revenue Officer at Vocus, Pogorzelski will be responsible for driving Avention through accelerated growth as the company expands its global operations.
Prior to Vocus, he served as CEO of ClickFuel, a Software as a Service marketing analytics platform provider. Pogorzelski was also President of Monster.com and Group President of Monster Worldwide, helping grow the company from $45 million to $1.4 billion in revenues.
Pogorzelski’s appointment is the next step in Avention’s path to revolutionise the greater business information industry. His proven leadership and experience in building and driving accelerated growth aligns with the efforts Avention has made to innovate an industry that is changing the way business is conducted. Earlier in 2014, Avention completely rebranded and launched a new platform; the announcement of Pogorzelski is the company’s further commitment to achieving its goal to become the industry standard for business information solutions.
