TAXAND RECOGNISED AS BEST IN CLASS IN ITR TAX CONTROVERSY LEADERS GUIDE 2014
48 Taxanders in 17 Taxand countries around the world have been ranked top in the International Tax Review’s Tax Controversy Leaders Guide 2014. Taxanders from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, India, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Spain and Sweden were nominated, owing to their outstanding achievements in tax controversy in the last year.
To be ranked within the guide, each Taxand professional has to have consistently received positive feedback from both peers and clients in all areas of controversy including litigation, administrative appeals and audits. With governments’ aggression against corporate tax issues increasingly taking centre stage across the world, it has never been more important, or more challenging, to deliver quality, practical advice in this space. Taxand’s increasing presence in the guide year on year demonstrates the level of trust in Taxand and its now established expertise.
The International Tax Review’s Tax Controversy Leaders Guide 2014 is in its fourth edition and is committed to providing a comprehensive directory of the world’s leading tax advisors to help multinational corporations seek the best tax controversy advice. Inclusion in the Tax Controversy Leaders Guide 2014 is based on a minimum number of nominations received and the guide promotes those who have shown great success in the last year.
Frederic Donnedieu de Vabres, Chairman of Taxand commented: “To have nearly 50 Taxanders listed in this year’s guide exemplifies the excellent client work Taxand continues to produce in this area and across a breadth of different countries. It just goes to show that despite entering a more challenging international tax environment due to initiatives such as BEPS, Taxand continues to be seen as one of the leading tax advisors, globally.”
