Safe-T Announces UAG Replacement Solution

Safe-T, a provider of secure front-end and enterprise collaboration solutions, announced today a replacement for Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) which will no longer be sold after July 1 of this year.  Safe-T’s RSAccess secures additional applications, with fewer vulnerabilities at a lower price point providing an attractive UAG replacement.

Microsoft Forefront UAG Discontinuation Details

Microsoft Forefront UAG provides secure remote access to corporate resources for employees, partners, and vendors on PCs and mobile devices. On December 17, 2013 Microsoft announced it will not deliver any future full version releases of Forefront UAG, and that the product will be removed from price lists on July 1, 2014.

How RSAccess Enhances Secure Access

Safe-T’s RSAccess provides secure access to internal applications using a dual node patented approach that adds another layer of protection by removing the need to open any ports within the internal firewall. Safe-T’s RSAccess is an application agnostic solution publishing and protecting all TCP based business applications including SharePoint, Web portals, SalesForce, Oracle, generic applications, SQL databases, etc.

Advanced Authentication Features of RSAccess

In addition, by utilizing its unique Secure Authentication Gateway module, RSAccess provides organizations with the broadest set of out-of-the-box connectors and SDK to user authentication options, including Active Directory, LDAP, OPEN-ID, PKI, Token-based, and more.

“In response to Microsoft’s end of sales news, many UAG customers are now looking for a replacement,” said Amir Mizhar, founder and CEO at Safe-T. “Our RSAccess Secure Front-End solution provides Microsoft UAG customers with more comprehensive security at a lower price point though its open architecture and more secure design. Furthermore, by utilizing RSAccess’s OPEN-ID based user authentication, Microsoft customers can now eliminate the need to manage anywhere from hundreds of thousands to millions of end-user passwords.”

Safe-t will be attending RSA conference 2014 and will demonstrate RSAccess at booth #2514 during the show.
