DENSO TO PARTNER WITH REBECCA JACKSON

Multi-talented racer and motoring journalist becomes brand advocate for DENSO

DENSO will support Rebecca Jackson, a rising star in motor sport and the automotive media, across her many activities in the public eye.

DENSO-LogoJackson, who previously worked with DENSO on the Track to Track challenge from Moscow to London, will showcase the relevant DENSO product innovations and technology at work both in competition on the racetrack, at key events for the aftermarket industry and through other promotional engagements.

To mark the start of this new brand advocacy role, Jackson will be appearing on the DENSO stand (19B72) at Automechanika Birmingham on June 6-8.

As part of the Track to Track challenge in 2015, Jackson drove a Lotus Exige S fitted with DENSO Iridium TT Spark Plugs as part of the successful launch of the new product line. Rebecca journeyed across nine countries in 10 days for the challenge – and will now carry DENSO’s colours further afield.

The accomplished racer has previously won the UK Production Porsche Boxster S Championship, raced in European competition at the wheel of a KTM GT4, came third in the Reiter Young Stars Championship and raced in the Road to Le Mans support race at the 2016 Le Mans 24H in an LMP3 car. Her main competitive programme in 2017 is the JCW MINI Challenge, in which her car will be fitted with homologated DENSO parts and carry the company colours as the focal point of the team livery.

Jackson said: “I am delighted to represent DENSO, a brand of real substance in the automotive industry. I have repeatedly put my faith in DENSO to help meet the challenges that I set for myself, and look forward to sharing the value of quality and innovation for everyday road users. It’s a real privilege.”

FatihaLaauich at DENSO Sales UK commented, “Rebecca’s career to date has been hugely impressive and has won respect from her competitors as well as a growing fanbase among enthusiasts. Her passion for the sport and for communicating to the motoring audience offers a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate our aftermarket expertise.”
