BSO SIGNS WITH NETRALITY PROPERTIES, EXPANDING INTO THIRD ON-NET DATA CENTRE IN CHICAGO AT 717 SOUTH WELLS
New PoP is Latest Move in Aggressive US Expansion, Provides BSO and Netrality Customers Additional Point of Access to BSO’s Ultra-Low Latency Global Network
BSO, the global Ethernet network, cloud and hosting provider, announces its new relationship with Netrality Properties, owner and operator of network-neutral carrier hotels and colocation facilities, to establish a new Point of Presence (PoP) in BSO’s third on-net data centre in Chicago at 717 South Wells. This expansion benefits both BSO and Netrality customers, providing financial traders and other clients looking for fast, diverse, reliable connections with a single point of entry to BSO’s global, ultra-low latency network, which offers local infrastructure while also linking the Americas to Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The move is BSO’s latest in its comprehensive and aggressive US expansion plan.
One of the city’s most connected buildings, 717 South Wells serves as a gateway to local and long-haul infrastructure, offers reliable interconnection for its customers and features a carrier-neutral Meet-Me-Room. BSO’s move into 717 South Wells further emphasizes the company’s dedication to bringing its unique approach to connectivity to Chicago, the centre of the derivatives market and one of the world’s top financial trading hubs. BSO also has PoPs in Chicago’s E. Cermak and Aurora DC3 data centres; this third entry point provides increased diversity to customers accessing the network.
BSO’s key ultra low latencies into/out of Chicago include:
Chicago <> Moscow 105.40 ms RTD
Chicago <> Dubai 180.95 ms RTD
Chicago <> Mumbai 176.95 ms RTD
“We’re delighted to welcome BSO to our list of carriers in 717 South Wells. Strategically located in the heart of the financial district, 717 South Wells is perfectly suited for BSO as it provides its client with long-haul low latency connectivity,” says Reggie Curtis, Director of Business Development of Netrality Properties.
“We know that access to financial trading circuits, with key entry points in Chicago, is crucial to our clients, so we’re establishing our presence in this city in a big way as part of our US expansion,” says Michael Ourabah, CEO at BSO. “We’re proud to work with Netrality Properties, a data centre provider that understands the importance of reliable, ultra-fast connections.”
