Alderbrooke, the leading executive search and cultural diagnostics consultancy, continued its expansion in the financial services sector with its recent appointment of Omar Al-Bakri as Director of Wholesale Financial Services. Omar brings with him a huge amount of experience working across the sector, specialising in wholesale, corporate and transaction banking.

Prior to joining Alderbrooke, Omar initiated the development of a successful Corporate and Transaction Banking practice for Leathwaite LLP, where his focus was on Leadership Positions. He started his career in banking with roles at Barclays, BNP Paribas, and as a Relationship Manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. More recently, Omar has been involved with Board and functional searches for consultancies and integrated Financial Services groups.

As Director of Wholesale Financial services, Omar will play a key role in supporting Alderbrooke’s extensive relationship with the banking industry, and utilising the firm’s cultural diagnostic abilities to deliver the best candidates.
