TenantBase Announces Los Angeles Market Leader

Following its recent $10.7 million dollar fundraise, TenantBase has announced that Jim Jandro, a 30+ year veteran of the Los Angeles commercial real estate market, will be leading all brokerage activities as the company grows its operations in Los Angeles. Jandro was formerly with industry leader Newmark Knight Frank.

“The Los Angeles market is an incredibly important region for our growth as a business. We moved our headquarters to Santa Monica because of the massive demand from our core customer base in LA — now with a talent like Jim Jandro heading up our brokerage team here, the sky is the limit,” says Bennett Washabaugh, CEO of TenantBase. “We will continue to invest in hiring great brokers and empowering them with top engineers to create a best-in-class brokerage experience for the modern tenant.”

TenantBase initially launched its Southern California operations in the Orange County market at the beginning of 2016 and has since significantly grown its Newport Beach/Irvine brokerage office to serve tenants in that region.

The company plans to continue to rapidly add brokers in the Greater Los Angeles area under Jandro and is actively recruiting senior, mid-level and entry level commercial real estate professionals to join its ranks.

“With over 30 years of commercial real estate experience in the Los Angeles market, and having worked at many of the largest brokerage firms in the region, leading the Los Angeles region for TenantBase was a unique opportunity,” says Jandro. “Unparalleled technology coupled with great commercial real estate brokers made perfect sense and appealed to me. This combination creates a powerful process, enhances the client’s experience and is truly unlike anything I have ever seen in our industry. With TenantBase’s strong leadership team and talented brokers, I’ve witnessed very impressive growth and success thus far. The company is poised to make a major mark in the real estate industry. I am thrilled to be a part of it!”
