Partner Scott Jones Returns to Proskauer

International law firm Proskauer is pleased to announce the return of partner Scott Jones to the Boston office Tax Department.

“We are delighted to welcome Scott back home! His breadth of experience advising on the tax aspects of fund formation and related matters is a very valuable resource to our clients, and he is an integral part of our practice,” said Ira Bogner, Chair of Proskauer’s Tax Department.

Scott’s practice focuses on tax planning for private equity fund managers in connection with their fundraising, structuring, internal organizational matters and operational issues. In addition, he represents U.S. and non-U.S. investors in connection with their investments in venture capital funds, buyout funds, hedge funds and other investment partnerships. Scott had previously been with the Firm for 13 years.

Scott is recognized by leading publications including Chambers USA, The Legal 500 and Best Lawyers in America. He received his A.B. from Brown University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Proskauer’s tax team is known for providing practical, business-oriented advice in a highly technical area.
