Orrick today announced that Glynna Christian, a sought-after advisor on technology transactions, has joined the firm’s Technology Companies Group as a partner in the Silicon Valley office. Glynna joins Orrick from Kaye Scholer, where she headed the Technology and Digital Transactions practice.  At Orrick, she will co-head the Global Technology Transactions practice with partners Daniel Yost and Kolvin Stone.

Glynna brings to Orrick over 20 years of experience assisting clients in navigating the complex legal and business issues involved in the development, use,protection and monetization of emerging and transformative technology and data vital to their businesses.She has advised on matters ranging from the launch of new digital and mobile products, such as wearable devices, payment solutions and mobile services to the purchase, sale and outsourcing of all types of technology platforms and services, to providing subject matter expertise in M&A, financings, public offerings and other corporate transactions.Her work, drawing on insights in areas such as IP, privacy law, and regulatory compliance, is at the forefront of new developments and disruptions in business and service delivery models caused by technology and data, such as cloud solutions, connected devices, AI and mobility.
