SEAT UK has bolstered its fleet team with the addition of Lindsay Ephgrave, who joins as the new Area Fleet Manager for the East.
Lindsay joins SEAT after building up an impressive 17 years of experience working with the Volkswagen Group. Her new role with SEAT will see her working across East Anglia supporting corporate customers and their business needs.
Lindsay has worked with the Volkswagen Group since 2001, starting in the Customer Care Department for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles before gaining invaluable experience in the Group Fleet Department, working closely with brands across the Group, including SEAT.
Well-versed in customer care with a rich understanding of the fleet agency sales process and an intimate knowledge of the SEAT brand, Lindsay’s considerable experience will prove invaluable in her new role.
Lindsay commented: “I’m joining the fleet team at a real watershed moment for SEAT Fleet – with a host of award-winning cars and an environment where there’s real ambition to grow the business. It is an unmissable opportunity.
“Having worked alongside SEAT for years as part of the Volkswagen Group, I’ve been able to see first-hand the strides the fleet team has made, and it’s exciting to now be playing a role in continuing that well-earned success.”
Peter McDonald, Head of Fleet & Business Sales at SEAT UK, added: “With Lindsay’s considerable experience in the automotive industry – with the Volkswagen Group in particular – and her intimate knowledge of the SEAT brand, we’re delighted to bring her aboard.
“Our success has come as a result of many things, but chief among those is our dedication to customer service, and a deep understanding of customers’ needs; Lindsay’s track-record at both means she’s a great match.”
The appointment comes during a period of growth for SEAT Fleet, with the brand climbing the True Fleet sales rankings after its biggest product offensive ever, and recently being named the Most Improved Fleet Manufacturer of the Year by two separate organisations.
