Integralis launches single global brand, WideAngle and announces plan to change name to NTT Com Security

Global Banking And Finance 1 News

NTT Com Group, incorporating NTT Communications (NTT Com) and Integralis AG, a provider of global information security and risk management solutions, today announced that Integralis intends to change its name to NTT Com Security AG. The company has also launched WideAngle, a single global brand for its information security and risk management portfolio of Managed and Professional Services, expert consulting and technology products.

The change of name reflects the NTT Com Group’s continued commitment to Integralis, including Secode, the leading Nordics-based provider of Managed Security Services, and the Group’s intention to continue expanding its security capabilities for global customers.

Integralis will now be able to better leverage its partnership with NTT Com as part of a large telecoms organisation, which has global reach, influence and resources, while NTT Com will be able to continue to focus on developing services and solutions to help businesses secure their investments in cloud, mobile, social and collaborative technologies.

The intention to change the name from Integralis AG to NTT Com Security AG will not involve any change in ownership of the organisation. With the exception of setting up NTT Com Security in Japan, there are no management or other operational changes planned.

Launch of single global information security and risk management portfolio
Backed by the strength of the NTT Com Group and the security expertise of Integralis (including Secode), the new global brand, WideAngle, will provide customers with a holistic approach to information security and risk management.

Through WideAngle, NTT Com will continue to pioneer new ways of managing information security and risk management to enable organisations to grow, transform and differentiate their businesses confidently and securely. The new name will allow NTT Com to continue to position itself as a “Trusted Advisor” to worldwide organisations looking to manage the impact of current and new drivers of the changing business landscape, such as big data, cloud, mobility, social networking and BYOD.

NTT Communications and its affiliates will also adopt the WideAngle brand when positioning their security portfolio to customers.

Integralis AG CEO, Simon Church said: “For us, the name change makes good business sense as the two companies become more closely aligned. We now have the opportunity to become the industry’s next information security and risk management powerhouse, especially with recent industry acquisitions.”

“Combined with the creation of WideAngle as a single global brand, we will present clients and partners with a truly integrated solution for all aspects of their environment, be it cloud, mobile or a more traditional on-premise infrastructure.”

Akira Arima, CEO at NTT Com, added: “Integralis has become an integral part of NTT Com as our dedicated security arm over the last four years. As it becomes part of the NTT Com brand, it means we can continue to invest in information security skills, expertise and services, through the WideAngle brand, and also integrate into our Global Cloud Vision to provide secure global cloud services on a seamless, end-to-end basis. ”
