ForeScout Technologies, Inc., a pioneer in agentless cybersecurity, has been named to the first-ever Forbes 2016 Cloud 100. Developed in partnership with Bessemer Venture Partners, the list represents the definitive top-100 private cloud companies in the world. To view the list, visit www.forbes.com/cloud100, it will also appear in the October 4, 2016 issue of Forbes magazine.
“The cloud represents the next evolution of the enterprise. Like any advancement there is huge opportunity, but also inherent risk,” said Michael DeCesare, ForeScout President and CEO. “As customers transition to the cloud, they need to ensure the same level of visibility and control as they have in their own on-premise networks. Being named to the Forbes Cloud-100 list is a testament to the investment ForeScout has made in building a robust platform that evolves to fit the ever-changing needs of our customers where they relate to cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) security.”
“Cloud companies are revolutionising how businesses reach their customers today from digitising painful old processes to allowing them more time to focus on what they really care about—what makes their products unique,” said Forbes editor of the Cloud 100 list Alex Konrad. “Inclusion in the Forbes 2016 Cloud 100 list recognises a company for its financial growth and excellence as recognised by customers and peers.”
“These are the companies to watch!” said Byron Deeter, a leading cloud investor and partner at Bessemer Venture Partners. “The Forbes Cloud 100 companies represent the very best private companies in cloud computing. We will see big IPOs and category killers emerge from this list as the cloud computing continues to propel the trillion-dollar software industry.”
