Published : 11 years ago, on
Blackwell Global launched their first educational seminar in Lagos, Nigeria, marking their foray into the African continent and staying true to their expansion plans for 2014. An award-winning (“Most Innovative STP Broker Asia 2013” & “Best Customer Service Provider Australasia 2013” by Global Banking & Finance Review and World Finance respectively) and leading online foreign exchange (“forex”) service provider, Blackwell Global swiftly and decisively marked the start of the new year by being the first forex brokerage to offer Straight-Through Processing (STP) and No Dealing Desk (NDD) execution to Lagos.
David Onaolapo, newly appointed Country Manager and a citizen of Lagos, opened the seminar with much anticipation from the crowd. “We are proud to be starting a new era of forex trading in Lagos. We’re establishing a solid presence here to bring you a world-class brokerage, providing world-class services.”
Blackwell Global has a proven track record of providing the most reliable investment options, with careful segregation of client and company funds, and by being fully licensed and regulated by international financial governing institutions.
The turnout for this inaugural event was overwhelming, with almost 300 participants making their way to the prestigious venue, including interested participants who flew over 2 hours from various parts of Africa, including Kenya and Ghana. Led by Jean-Raphael Nahas, an eloquent and inspiring Business Development Director from Cyprus, the attendance for this seminar held by Blackwell Global matched past expos and forex events representing various brokerages.
“We will change the way you think you know forex. Only at Blackwell Global, we teach you how to mastermind the forex brokerage revolution. Let us help you materialise the profits you envisage.” Jean-Raphael Nahas announced to the awe-inspired crowd. Other presenters included Sunday Salako, Fisayo Siyanbola and Opeoluwa Abiola, influential speakers from the forex industry in Nigeria.
A team of Blackwell Global staff were present to help actualise the company’s expansion plans, kicking off with this educational seminar, followed by preparations for the opening of a representative office in Nigeria. The Nigeria office is well situated to serve trading clients in the continent of Africa. Blackwell Global has always been strategic in its expansion plans, with a research team based in Auckland, New Zealand, and a regional office in Cyprus supporting the EMEA region.
