ADI GROUP CONFIRMED AMONG TOP 5% OF GLOBAL CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) ELITE

Birmingham-based engineering services firm, adi Group, just received a double-dose of good news, cementing their status among the World’s most sustainable and engaging employers.

csrEcoVadis, a global organisation enabling companies to measure and demonstrate their CSR performance on a rich, multi-tiered scale, last week awarded adi their Gold Accreditation. Scoring the firm at a huge 73%, EcoVadis rates adi in the top 5% of the over 40,000 companies it assesses in over 110 countries worldwide.

The annual EcoVadis ratings serve as an informative guide to blue chip brands and multi-national companies looking to ensure their partners and supply chains run sustainable operations and invest in the wellbeing and skills of their workforces.

The news came on the back of another significant boost for the engineering firm, after it was recognised by The Sunday Times’ Best Company workplace engagement accreditation programme, which gave adi an impressive 1 star rating in a wide-ranging analysis. Not only was the rating significant, it was even more so given that it was the business’ first grading within this nationally based and high profile engagement assessment.

The Sunday Times’ Best Company programme looks closely at a company’s approach to employee wellbeing, leadership, personal growth, management, community engagement, teamwork, fair deals and the business as a whole, interviewing staff to gain insights.

Both pieces of recognition serve as a double boost for adi Group, burnishing its credentials as a forward-thinking employer, just as it is looking to take on up to 500 new engineers across more than 30 specialist disciplines to fulfil its growth ambitions over the next four years.

Group CEO, Alan Lusty, responded to the news, saying “We’re absolutely delighted with both these endorsements. Coming from such respected organisations as EcoVadis and The Sunday Times, they tell us we’re doing the right things on sustainability and employee engagement.

“We work, and listen, very hard to ensure our staff are engaged, enthusiastic and fulfilled in their work, and we’re always striving for innovative ways to make our processes and infrastructure more resilient and as sustainable as is possible.

“So, it’s not just good news for us, as a company with big ambitions, but good news for prospective clients and people with the skills we’re searching for. They know we’re focused on doing the right things and doing them to the very best of our ability.”

There are scores of engineering opportunities on the horizon at adi Group in over 30 engineering disciplines. To learn more about the openings available right now and further ahead in 2018, check out http://adiltd.co.uk/careers.
