VIVIDTOUCH™ TO SHOWCASE NEXT GENERATION OF INTERACTIVE TOUCH SCREENS AT UC EXPO

VIVIDtouch will introduce the next generation of workplace technology at UC Expo 2016. The VIVIDtouch VTF range is the world’s first-ever series of interactive panels that run on the new Windows 10 operating system and deliver Microsoft Office apps directly from the panel.

Visitors to UC Expo can see the VIVIDtouch screens in action and experience their unique features and functionality designed to enhance collaboration and truly evolve the working environment.

The new VTF series includes the built-in full-feature Quad core INTEL Windows 10 device to deliver a far superior performance than the processors incorporated into most Android touch screens. The operating system enables users to access, manage and create content, use familiar software packages, browse the internet and gain access to thousands apps available through the Windows store.

The new interactive panels are the first to offer an unrivalled touch experience with VIVIDtouch InGlass™ powered by FlatFrog, a system that dramatically improves performance over other touch technologies. The InGlass™ technology gives users a true tablet-like experience – replicating the responsive, smooth, intelligent and accurate performance on a large touch screen optimised for the workplace.

Users can integrate written content with OneNote and share with colleagues, as well as log in to their Office 365 accounts, accessing their files and information, or Skype for Business on the panel itself, negating the need for an additional PC or laptop in the meeting room.

Ian Goodhind, chief technology officer at VIVIDtouch commented: “As the largest unified communications and collaboration event in Europe, UC Expo provides us with the ideal platform to showcase the capabilities of the new VTF series. The event focuses on technologies that enable smarter working and a truly connected business and we are delighted to introduce a solution that looks set to be the new touch screen of choice for the workplace.”

The VTF range comes in three different sizes, 65”, 75” and 84”, and has been specifically designed with ease of use in mind, with several beneficial features and control keys on the front of the display, as well as connection ports, to make everyday use as simple as possible for all business users.

In addition, the panel offers highly secure operations, with  Windows Defender that uses real-time protection to scan everything that is downloaded or ran on the touch screen; and  Windows Firewall that filters information coming in from the internet to block any potentially harmful programs.

The full feature set and functionality of the new interactive panels can be explored on the VIVIDtouch stand F617 at UC Expo from 19-20 April at Olympia London.
