 Christian Reusch has been appointed Head of Global Syndicate & Capital Markets, reporting to Richard Burton and Andreas Mayer, Co-Heads of Global Financing & Advisory.  Christian Reusch was previously Co-Head of Global Syndicate alongside Tim Hoffmeister.

 Marco Bales, who was previously Head of Global Syndicate & Capital Markets, has been appointed Head of Markets Germany, reporting to Guy Laffineur, Global Head of Markets. Mr. Bales takes over this responsibility from Tong Lee who continues in his role of Global Head of Rates.

 In addition, Luca Falco, previously Global Co-Head of Debt Origination, is appointed Deputy Head of Global Syndicate & Capital Markets, and Clemens Popp, previously Global Co-Head of Debt Origination, is appointed Global Head of Debt Origination.  Tim Hoffmeister, who was previously Co-Head of Global Syndicate alongside Christian Reusch, is appointed Head of Global Syndicate.  Luca Falco, Clemens Popp and Tim Hoffmeister will report to Christian Reusch.

 The moves are part of succession planning  withinUniCredit Corporate & Investment Banking which aims to ensure that clients continually receive best quality advice on their capital structure needs based on a holistic view of a wide range of funding opportunities.

 Global Syndicate & Capital Markets is made up of Global Syndicate, now headed by Tim Hoffmeister; Debt Origination, now headed by Clemens Popp; Rating Advisory, which continues to be headed by Lorenzo Sliusarev; and Equity Capital Markets (ECM), which continues to be headed by StefaniaGodoli, who is responsible for all ECM products and teams globally as well as for the partnership with Kepler-Cheuvreux on research and distribution services.

 The appointments are effective immediately.

 Biographies

 Christian Reusch joined UniCredit in 1995 and has served as Co-Head of Global Syndicate, Global Head of Investment Grade Corporate Origination and Debt Syndicate and Global Head of Debt Capital Markets.

 Marco Bales joined UniCredit in 1999 and has served as Head of Debt Capital Markets and Head of Global Syndicate and Capital Markets.

 Luca Falco joined UniCredit in 2001 and has served as Global Co-Head of Debt Origination, Head of Debt Capital Markets Italy, and Head of Syndicate and Credit Trading.

 Tim Hoffmeister joined UniCredit in 2008 as Head of Financial Sponsors Solutions Germany and has since served as Head of High Yield Capital Markets, Head of Financial Sponsor Solutions globally, and Co-Head of Global Syndicate.

 Clemens Popp joined UniCredit in 1990 and has served as Global Co-Head of Debt Origination, Global Head of Financials and Public Sector Origination, and Deputy Head of Financial Institutions Group Capital Markets Origination.
