TRANSFAST NAMES JOE TUMBARELLO AS CFO/COO
Transfast, one of the fastest-growing providers of cross-border payments and funds transfer solutions to consumers and businesses worldwide,today announced the appointment of Joe Tumbarello as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Tumbarello joined the company as COO in June 2015. As COO, he has been responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations.
“Joe has a proven himself to be a capable leader, and is ideally positioned to take on a broader role that better serves the needs of our fast-growing business,” says Transfast CEO Samish Kumar.
An award-winning Chief Financial/Chief Operating Officer, Tumbarello has held senior financial, operational, and business management positions in companies including First Data Corporation, where he was a divisional Chief Financial Officer and General Manager, Cardservice International, where he was Chief Financial Officer, and FNDS3000 Corp., a prepaid company focusing on the South African market. Immediately prior to joining Transfast, Tumbarello was Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at Global Cash Card, focusing on business operations, strategy, network and banking relationships. He also served as Global’s Chief Compliance officer. Tumbarello holds an MBA in Corporate and International Finance from Baruch College in New York.

As CFO/COO, Tumbarello will be a key player in developing Transfast’s financial and operational strategy. He will be the point person responsible for the financial and operations functions of Transfast, including systems to continue to support the company’s growth strategy.
