Tiger Recruitment reports significant growth and prepares for Brexit impact

Markel gains license for German insurance company--supports EEA growth strategy

London-based recruitment agency, Tiger Recruitment, has reported significant business growth over the last 12-month period.

The firm, which specialises in matching high calibre support staff to top businesses and private individuals, saw business support placements in its City office increase by 67%, while its West End office experienced a 43% growth in successful positions filled.

In its second year of trading, Tiger’s private division, Tiger Private, has grown organically through substantial referrals and word of mouth, seeing a 96% increase in placements during the company’s last financial year.

The company has achieved an overall 48% increase in placements since August 2017 with a variety of factors contributing to this success. This includes winning significant client contracts, investment in additional staff, and growing their presence across the Middle East and Europe.

Brexit continues to accelerate European recruitment as more companies prepare for all eventualities by opening European offices.

David Morel, CEO of Tiger Recruitment said: “Our European expansion has been encouraged by Brexit as businesses elect to open satellite offices in cities such as Frankfurt and Zurich. As a result, we’ve seen an increased demand for multilingual support staff who can provide high-level support to senior executives. More generally, we’ve also seen an uplift in international recruitment, as companies look to diversify outside of the UK. While the overall job market may feel some job losses due to Brexit, in general we feel that there will be minimal negative impact in the secretarial space.”

David continued: “The growth we have achieved demonstrates how Tiger remains at the forefront of emerging trends, with our international footprint and scale well placed to assist companies as they expand internationally.”

David added: “Our team of highly experienced recruitment consultants lies behind what has been a very successful year for Tiger. While the Tiger brand is instrumental in attracting exceptional candidates, our consultants are totally dedicated to partnering with our clients to place exactly the right candidate for each role. We are expecting continued strong growth in 2018/19.”
