Transition of Citi hedge fund customers to latest version of Geneva platform enables integrated processing of complex asset classes

SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:SSNC), a global provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, today announced it has successfully transitioned Citi’s hedge fund customers to the latest version of the Geneva platform – SS&C’s real-time portfolio management, reporting and investor accounting solution. The swift implementation of Geneva® 15.2 for Citi Alternative Investor customers demonstrates the value of SS&C’s synergistic acquisition strategy – with technology experts from Advent combining with Citi’s expertise to benefit clients.

With the latest version of Geneva (15.2), SS&C has enhanced its services by streamlining accounting workflows for complex asset classes such as bank loans and swaps, as well as offering easy access to other SS&C applications such as GoRisk™ and GoWire. Prior to the upgrade and acquisition by SS&C Technologies, Citi Alternative Investor Services clients were on Geneva 8.0.

“Our unique combination of technology and expertise is revolutionizing how fund managers are managing their IT and operational infrastructure, and is raising the bar for fund administration services,” said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. “We are focused on our client’s business needs, and delivering integrated solutions to simplify and scale their operations. The seamless Geneva 15.2 upgrade for our recently acquired Citi Alternative Investor Services clients demonstrates our competency and unparalleled experience.”

The Geneva 15.2 upgrade for Citi Alternative Investor Services clients enables them to further maximize their existing investments in SS&C’s fund administration services, and bridge to new technologies and services such as SS&C’s market leading regulatory solutions and middle office service offerings.

“The project represents the first of many enhancements under our new ownership,” said Mike Sleightholme, Managing Director, Hedge Fund Services, SS&C. “Combining SS&C’s deep expertise in technology and fund administration, our customers can harness the benefits of best-in-class technology at a cost and pace that makes sense for their business.”
