Healy joins from Aldermore Bank to drive Unisys’ strategy for digital banking and customer experience
Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced the appointment of Simon Healy as Industry Director for its Financial Services business in EMEA. Healy joins Unisys to drive strategy for Unisys’ financial services portfolio including core banking, mortgages and omni-channel banking solution, Elevate. He will also advise on digital transformation, analytics and managed security programmes for financial institutions.
Healy joins from Aldermore Bank where he was a founding member and managing director of savings and he will report directly to Unisys’ global financial services leader, Eric Crabtree. Prior to Aldermore Bank, Healy held leadership positions at Heritable Bank, Icesave and Capital One, and has championed the development of multiple award-winning innovative digital initiatives to support multi-channel banking and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Healy, commented: “Unisys has a terrific portfolio of innovative financial services solutions, with an astonishing track record in resilience, stability and security. From my experience, start-ups or challenger banks often look for small technology partners to begin with. Once the business is launched they often realise that these partners cannot scale to support the organisation properly. Unisys has that scale and industry heritage that financial institutions can rely on and I’m extremely excited to be part of the team.”
Eric Crabtree, said: “Simon’s appointment is testament to the transformational work we are doing for financial institutions. As a founder of Aldermore Bank Simon brings invaluable client-side expertise to help us support our customers achieve their goals. In his new role, Simon will pioneer digital strategies and advise on technology strategy to help us deliver better customer experience for the banks we do business with.”
