Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced today the arrival of partners John D. Shire and William B. Eck to the Corporate department in Washington, D.C. Shire arrives from the Washington, D.C. office of Fox Rothschild LLP. Eck joins from the Washington, D.C. office of Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, P.C., a prominent California-based health law boutique firm.

Their arrivals follow the recent additions of Timothy Bennett (Boston), Gordon Peery (Los Angeles), Andrew Sherman (Washington, D.C.), Julia Jacobson (Boston) and Thomas Schramkowski (Atlanta). Seyfarth’s Corporate department focuses on areas such as mergers and acquisitions, securities, investment management, corporate counseling, commercial transactions, financing, international business, and tax planning. Seyfarth’s Health Care Mergers & Acquisitions team works regularly on health care mergers, acquisitions, sales and affiliations across a range of providers—including non-profit and for-profit hospital organizations, regional health care systems, physician groups, specialized health care centers, and industry service providers.
