SANTANDER APPOINTS SAUL PROCTOR AS A DIRECTOR WITHIN THE FINANCIAL SPONSORS TEAM FOR CORPORATE AND COMMERCIAL BANKING

Santander Corporate & Commercial has appointed Saul Proctor as a Director within its Financial Sponsors team.

Reporting to Andrew Clayton, Saul will be responsible for the origination and execution of new event driven transactions across the South and Midlands, supporting Financial Sponsors and management teams in the mid corporate market place.

Saul has over eight years of experience working within Leveraged Finance, most recently working for RBS, helping originate and execute a wide range of transactions to support a number of Private Equity backed UK mid-market corporates.

Andrew Clayton, National Head of Financial Sponsors, Structured Finance Group, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “Santander Corporate & Commercial has established a long track record in successfully structuring debt products into complex and/or leveraged transactions, and is committed to providing tailored support to our customers at every stage of their development.

“Saul is a highly experienced and capable banker with strong Leveraged Finance expertise and I am confident he will be a huge success in his new role.”
