Sharing news that global law firm Morrison & Foerster, the first large law firm in the country to build a State + Local Tax practice, is expanding that practice with the addition of attorney William Gorrod in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Mr. Gorrod brings more than 10 years of experience counseling on matters pertaining to state and local income and franchise taxes, bank taxes, gross receipt taxes, unincorporated business taxes, sales and use taxes, real estate transfer taxes, and payroll taxes. He also provides counsel on multistate audit defense, administrative appeals, voluntary disclosure agreements, penalty abatements, and amnesties.
