MindLink Software (MindLink), developer of secure, integrated Enterprise Chat applications, has announced the appointment of Justin Forrest as its new global CEO.

Justin replaces Joseph Do, who founded the company in April 2011 and will now step up as chairman of the MindLink board.

Justin will take on day-to-day responsibility for driving revenues, clients and user numbers globally, increasing shareholder value and focusing on delivering exponential growth for the company moving forward. He will draw on more than 25 years’ experience as a financial markets professional with a solid track record of developing, selling and delivering IT, enterprise solutions and risk analytics to both the front and middle offices.

Justin comments: “The demand for Enterprise Chat has never been greater as collaborative technologies revolutionise how businesses communicate internally and with clients.”

“MindLink remains at the forefront of the industry when it comes to supporting companies which require a collaboration tool that adds tangible value to the business and that is fully integrated, secure and compliant. With this in mind, the opportunity to lead MindLink in its next phase of growth was too good to turn down.”

In 2003, Justin was part of a team that founded QuIC Financial Technologies (QuIC), a venture-backed start-up providing risk analytics solutions to the financial markets. As the EVP, global sales, Justin was responsible for customer acquisition and revenue generation. QuIC was acquired by Markit in 2011 following which he led the Markit Analytics team globally for three years.

Joseph Do adds: “In the past 12 months the number of user licences we sold grew by more than 100%, which means we have now reached the milestone of 350,000 licences. When you combine this with the significant growth we’ve seen in mobile users and app downloads, it is clear that the foundations are in place for an exciting future for MindLink.”

“The experience Justin brings in effectively building and managing global teams, combined with his expertise in developing the commercial prosperity of start-up businesses similar to MindLink, means I am delighted to be handing over the reins to him.”
