MetricStream CEO, Shellye Archambeau, will be speaking at the 2016 CEO Business Climate Summit, hosted by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG), a nationally recognized organization focused on fostering a cooperative effort between business and government officials to address major public policy issues.

The summit, now in its thirteenth year, will be held on April 15, 2016 in Mountain View, California. The event will bring together a select group of CEOs as well as elected officials and community partners for three in-depth panels and discussions on how businesses can work together to strengthen competitiveness in our global economy on a regional, state, and national level.

Ms. Archambeau will be speaking on a panel on “U.S. Competitiveness,” which will convene leaders to discuss solutions to some of today’s most pressing business challenges. She will be joined on the panel by Dr. France A. Córdova, Director at the National Science Foundation and Charles H. Rivkin, Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, among other business leaders.

Speaking on regional and state business issues will be David Chiu, Chairman of the Assembly Housing and Community Development Committee; Senator Jim Beall, Chairman of the Senate Transportation and Housing Committee; Sam Liccardo, Mayor of San Jose; and Libby Schaaf, Mayor of Oakland.

“I’m delighted to be a part of the CEO Business Climate Summit, and I look forward to discussing how we can build stronger, better performing organizations,” said Ms. Archambeau. She continued, “In today’s globalized and hyper-connected world, we, as a business community, are dealing with a wide and complex range of risks, regulations, and threats every day. Surviving and thriving in this landscape calls for collective thought and action. I believe that when we come together through events such as this, we are able to develop new and innovative solutions to preserve our corporate integrity, protect our brands, and drive exceptional performance.”
