JOELSON HOSTS TECH ENTREPRENEURS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE AT ITS LONDON TECH WEEK EVENT
Leading London law firm, Joelson is reflecting on the success of its London Tech Week panel discussion, which garnered the interest of the international press.
Entitled Technology as a Driver for Growth in a post-Brexit World, the event held in central London on the first day of the week-long tech festival, not only attracted nearly 100 business leaders and academics, but also attracted the interest of German Broadcaster RTL.
The panel discussion, which consisted of Joelson’s Corporate and Commercial Partner Phil Hails-Smith, JamJar Investments’ Katie Leviten, Springwise’s CEO James Bidwell, London & Partner’s Koen Vandecaveye, Sustainable Ventures’ Chairman Andrew Wandsworth and Addison Lee’s Vice Chairman, Liam Griffin, touched upon a range of Brexit related issues, including IP and brand protection, sustainability, investment in London and across the UK , the impact on attracting the right talent to the UK as well as some top tips and useful insights for tech entrepreneurs, investors and innovators.
A camera crew from the official organisers of London Tech Week also joined RTL to quiz guests and the panel about how the tech sector was dealing with the challenges posed by Brexit.
