IPC, a leading global provider of secure, compliant communications and networking solutions for the financial markets community, today announced the expansion of its relationship with Equinix.  IPC has joined the Equinix Cloud Exchange™ (ECX) to provide direct, scalable and reliable access via its Connexus Cloud solution to cloud providers available in Equinix International Business Exchange ™ (IBX®) data centres in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.  Customers can access the Equinix eco-system of more than 500 cloud service providers delivered via IPC’s Connexus Cloud, one of the world’s largest secure, private financial markets network with over 200,000 users across 6,000 market participant locations in 700 cities.

Through the Equinix Cloud Exchange, IPC is able to provide the benefits of the cloud to customers adopting SaaS offerings while leveraging a private network with security and performance features which are not available via the internet. Customers are provided access to hundreds of cloud service providers via affordable, private connections through a single port.
