“Turkey & More: Izmir as the new ICT Hub”

British Chamber of Commerce Turkey (BCCT) and Izmir Development Agency (IZKA) are partnering in a conference in International Festival for Business in Liverpool on 30 June 2016.

International Festival for Business, IFB2016, takes place on 13 June- 01 July in Liverpool, hosting 3 weeks of networking, business meetings, conferences and workshops on almost all sectors. The 3rd week of the Festival’s theme will be Creative & Digital, therefore BCCT & IZKA have partnered to organise this exciting conference on the potential of Turkey and Izmir’s importance in ICT sector.

IFBThe Conference will be a platform to discuss the potential in Turkish market in general, also focusing on specifically ICT sector to the attendees with moderation, presentation and Q&A sessions. The moderator of the “Turkey & More: Izmir as the new ICT Hub” conference will be TayfunUğur, BCCT Board Member who will portray the picture of ICT sector in Turkey. Ahmetİplikçi will be giving a presentation on Turkish market in general and talking about leading industries, sector opportunities, how to do business and how to expand using Turkey as a hub. Sedef Ozer from IZKA will give a presentation on Izmir as the new investment hub for ICT in Turkey.

With a population of 78 million and a labour force of 29 million people, Turkey is currently one of the fastest growing markets in Europe. “Turkey & More: Izmir as the new ICT Hub” conference will provide a great platform to discuss the vibrant potential in various sectors and opportunities in Turkey; focusing on especially ICT sector in Izmir, Turkey’s 3rd biggest and youngest city. .
