HELP FOR CHILDREN CHARITY BENEFICIARY AT 2016 MARCUM MICROCAP CONFERENCE

Help For Children was the charity beneficiary of the 2016 Marcum MicroCap Conference, which was held June 1-2 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York. The two-day conference had more than 1200 attendees and featured presentations by CEOs and CFOs from seven principal industry sectors, expert panels moderated by industry leaders, and gave investors the opportunity to meet one-on-one with management of the presenting companies.

At the opening day luncheon, David Bukzin, partner-in-charge of Marcum’s national SEC Services Practice group as well as the Firm’s New York City office, presented the donation to Renée Skolaski, Executive Director and CEO of Help For Children. During the presentation, David and Renée were joined on stage by Marcum Partner and HFC Board Member Beth Wiener.  (See photo above). Ms. Weiner is partner-in-charge of Marcum’s national Alternative Investment Group.

In accepting the donation, Renée thanked Marcum for the Firm’s ongoing support of HFC’s work.  “It is the generosity of supporters like Marcum that allow us to have an impact on the lives of abused children and families. For close to 20 years, with the support of the alternative investment community, HFC has been making grants to protect and heal children across six cities in the US, 6 countries and 3 continents.”
