The Gulf Oil International Group is delighted announce the launch of a new lubricant operation for Poland: Gulf Polska Sp z.o.o.
The new company is a joint venture between Gulf Oil International and Boss Oil Limited.
Gulf Polska Sp z.o.o. will bring important long term security and stability to the development of the Gulf brand and the sales of its products in a market that Gulf sees as being of great importance in its future operations in Europe.
“This will represent a major step forward for Gulf in Poland,” explains Gulf Oil International’s Vice President, Europe, Camille Nehme. “We have ambitious plans in the country and a strong presence in Poland is a key part of Gulf’s growth in Europe, which, in turns forms part of Gulf’s major international growth programme.”
Gulf Polska will be managed by Rob van den Bosch who has great experience of both the Gulf Brand and the Polish lubricants market.
“Gulf is a well-established global brand with an excellent, wide portfolio of quality products,” comments Rob van den Bosch. “It also has an incredible marketing platform, which we know will be something that will be of benefit to the entire distribution chain in Poland, from distributors through to end user customers.”
Gulf recently signed a three year global partnership with the world’s number one football brand, Manchester United, and club legend, Gary Pallister, flew in to celebrate the launch of the new company, meeting media and trade at an event in Szczecin, where Gulf Polska is going to be based.
The former England International star explained the nature of the Gulf global lubricant and fuel partnership with Manchester United who were, of course, recently crowned as winners of England’s FA Cup. In the run up to the important Euro 2016 tournament – for which both Poland and England have qualified – he also gave his views on more general footballing issues.
In addition to Gulf’s partnership with Manchester United, this year Gulf has also signed a long-term technical partnership with BMW’s manufacturer-backed World Superbike squad. The Gulf colours also adorn the Porsche 911 GTE RSR of World Endurance Championship contenders, Gulf Racing and the record-breaking Top Fuel drag bike of nine time European champion, Ian King.
