FORESCOUT INTRODUCES NEW CONTROLFABRIC TECHNOLOGY PARTNER PROGRAM TO ADVANCE NETWORK SECURITY CAPABILITIES THROUGH COLLABORATION AND INTEGRATION WITH INDUSTRY LEADERS
Interoperability optimises network security and IT resources by leveraging
an open approach for dynamic visibility, intelligence and remediation
ForeScout Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of pervasive network security solutions for Fortune 1000 enterprises and government organisations, has introduced a new ControlFabric Technology Partner Program, designed to encourage industry-leading developers, system integrators and customers to integrate CounterACT with other security and management systems. The new partner program provides advantages for ForeScout’s growing IT ecosystem and builds upon the more than 60 existing integrations. Nearly 30 technology partners, including new members Motorola, Palo Alto Networks and Splunk Inc., have committed to the program.
At the cornerstone of the program is ForeScout’s ControlFabric platform, which enables enterprises to more rapidly respond to a range of enterprise security and operational issues. The ControlFabric platform offers a standards-based integration mechanism that allows disparate security and management systems to communicate bi-directionally with the platform and, ultimately, the ForeScout CounterACT network security appliance.
The ControlFabric Technology Partner Program allows ForeScout to further collaborate with industry-leading hardware and software vendors, examine ways to team their solutions with ForeScout CounterACT™ and deliver greater customer value. Partners enjoy the ability to differentiate their offerings, leverage CounterACT and ControlFabric capabilities, participate in joint go-to-market programs and explore new business opportunities. The two participation program levels, partner and gold, are determined by the level of commitment to the program and adoption by customers employing the integrated solution.
ForeScout has a well-established technology partner ecosystem that has been developed over the past eight years. Leading infrastructure vendors that have committed to participate in the ForeScout ControlFabric Technology Partner Program include: AirWatch, Brocade, Citrix, Fiberlink, FireEye, Fortinet, Garland Technology, Gigamon, HP, IBM, Invincea, McAfee, MobileIron, Motorola, Netoptics, Palo Alto Networks, Qualys, Red Seal, RSA, Ruckus, Securonix, Tenable, Threat Stream, Topia Technologies, VSS Monitoring and Splunk. Nearly forty additional vendors are anticipated to join later this year.
“Given that enterprises face a complex threat environment, diverse security policies and compliance requirements as well as an ever growing number of security point solutions, an open platform that provides interoperability is a must,” said Gil Friedrich, vice president of technology for ForeScout. “The ControlFabric Technology Partner Program not only makes it easy for third-party security companies to integrate their solutions with CounterACT, but it is a platform for corporate IT to automate their day-to-day tasks and to exchange information and actions between security solutions. Making security solutions work together and automatically turn information into actions improves the company’s overall security posture and optimises resources.”
The ControlFabric partner program provides the foundation for technical, sales and marketing cooperation to maximise joint business opportunities. Partners enjoy an array of benefits including:
- Development access to the CounterACT solution, ControlFabric Interface tools and support
- Increased awareness via co-branded marketing collateral, website reference and partner designation
- Co-marketing activities such as press releases, solution briefs, case studies and videos
- Lead generation through joint webinars, seminars and industry events
- Sales training activities and best practices workshops
- Participation in the ControlFabric technology partner demo centre to showcase specific use cases
